Elementary, middles school and high school girls are invited to learn one on one with a member of the Beit Midrash.

 

Pizza and Parsha • Thurs, 5-6pm
1-5th grade girls and boys are invited to learn about the parsha. Come for the Torah, stay for the pizza!

A Guide to the Summer Haftarot: From the Depths of Despair to the Heights of Joy
Rabbi Gideon Rothstein

The haftarot that sandwich Tish'a B'Av offer us the heights of rebuke as well as of consolation. In studying these texts, we will remind ourselves what led to the destruction, what we can expect and hope for in the Redemption, and how we can move more quickly towards it.
